3rd Annual State of Michigan Domestic Violence Rally

The vision for the rally is to educate and to emphasize that domestic violence does not discriminate. Every community is affected by domestic violence. This rally is inclusive and individuals are collaborating for a common purpose and that purpose is to bring awareness to a subject that is seemingly not on the radar: Domestic Violence. We want people to understand the "real" about domestic violence and not the polished version from a "text book". We are a melting pot of advocates and we want to encourage unity to fight against domestic violence. We will educate the community about the laws we are collaboratively working on to change and/or implement so that victims/survivors know that people are listening. If they have lost their voice, they will know that people are fighting on their behalf. Ultimately, we want to tell a story and that is that the next victim makes it in the end because of our fight to change laws and bring awareness to domestic violence.
